Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi [High Performance School]

It would be a very good thing to know that my school has been nominated as one of the 20 best schools to receive the title 'Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi (SBT)'. MOZAC is one of them. But one thing for sure, the school has to work harder towards exellence performance, mainly in the academic achievement. Congratulations to all the rest of the SBT schools, too. To know more about SBT, I think there's a post in my school blog that could explain it.

The Semester System

It seems like SMS Muzaffar Syah has made a big changes to its learning and teaching system by implementing the 'Semester System'. It is such a drastic change which is believed shall increase its students' performance in the academic field. Through this system, those who are going to sit for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia [SPM] shall have 4 semesters and those who are sitting for Penilaian Menengah Rendah [PMR], 6 semesters. The students shall have their last semester as the period of revising, meaning that the learning syllabus should be finished before the last semester. This kind of teaching and learning method aquires 80% of the examination marks and another 20% will be given based on the students' hands-on activities, quizzes, assignments and etc. For more information, please visit the school blog-muzaffarsyah.blogspot.com.
